I tell you, gold leaf in pictures is nothing on seeing it in person. that is real pure fucking gold, hammered so thin it tears when you grab it

the blue is also likely azurite or ultramarine…like many medieval pigments it is made from finely ground gems, and azurite is so vibrant and expensive that it was saved for special parts of the painting, to indicate importance or holiness (for note this is why the Virgin Mary is still depicted in blue robes to this day)

Looking for FCs

So, after giving it some thought, I decided to make a post. I’m in the market for FC(s) for mostly one of my mains, Ellere, though I do have some alts to place as well if things catch my interest. I was just going to go solo for a while, but being solo sucks, especially with Stormblood so close. So, here’s to trying.

A little bit about me:
– I’m located on the west coast, so PST/PDT times tend to work best for me.
– I like RP with plot and substance, long build-ups and deep story.


– I’m open to darker themes, or morally gray ideas (for some of my characters, Ellere not so much.)
– I lean to things being lore-friendly and compliant, though open to have fun within reason as well.


A little bit about what I’m looking for:
– Activity is a must. I’m coming from a FC with consistent, weekly RP events with plot/story tied to them.
-Along the line of activity stated above, I’m also looking for a group that does content/PVE together, especially with Stormblood on the horizon.
– Lore-abiding. As mentioned, I’m a stickler for lore, so I’d want an environment that adheres to it as much as possible, within reason.
– I play a lot of characters, so I’d need a place that was okay with me spreading my time here and there.

What I’m probably not looking for:
– Performance-based/tavern-themed FCs. Nothing wrong with them, just none of my characters would fit well in that environment.
– PVE focused group, while yes, I do want to run things with FCmates come the expansion and beyond, I still want RP to be the primary focus.

If you know any FCs that might fit the bill, I’d appreciate it! Or just a signal boost. I should probably also mention I’m on Balmung.
